Honorary Membership is awarded to recipients of the SHANE BIRD AWARD for Outstanding
Contribution and Service. This award has been presented annually to individuals who have gone
above and beyond voluntary giving up time to support the club in general.

This year’s recipient Clare Schlenker is a familiar face to many of you within the club and at The
Warren. Since stepping up to manage her two daughters’ team some seasons back the current U12
Girls White have gone from strength to strength. Clare in the meantime joined the club committee
and has been an active member assisting in many areas where needed. She is the Welfare Officer for
the Girls section of the club, and this season has managed the kitchen rota volunteers with club
managers. There are many more examples, where Clare like those at the heart of the club give up
their own time to ensure that the club functions for all.
I am sure you will agree Clare Schlenker is a very worthy recipient of the award.
